About Us

Injuries West was established in 2004 by Leanne Taylor-Leckie and John Leckie, with a vision to provide a different approach to injury treatment, management,  rehabilitation and physical performance.

By combining expertise in soft tissue management, clinical treatment, rehabilitation and strength and conditioning, Injuries West is one of the first clinics in Wyndham to offer these services together under one roof.

More than 20 years later, Injuries West continues to provide individualised, evidence informed care for people of all ages and activity levels. We work with everyone experiencing everyday pain and musculoskeletal injuries, through to recreational, developing and high-performance athletes.

Our approach has also evolved with our experience and ongoing education. We recognise that pain, injury and recovery can also be influenced by more than just the physical injury itself. We take the time to understand the individual, their lifestyle, their goals and factors that may be affecting their recovery.

Our experience extends beyond the treatment room, with experience across Community, Representative, State, National and International sporting environments. This allows us to understand the demands placed on athletes and the importance of integrating treatment, rehabilitation, strength and conditioning and return-to-sport planning.

Over the years, Injuries West has been recognised for it's contributions to both industry and the community, including recognition by the Victorian Government for their "Hall of Fame" achievement in the Healthy Workplace Achievement Program. The first small business in Victoria to receive this recognition.

While Injuries West has continued to grow and evolve, our focus remains the same as it was when we opened our doors in 2004 - to listen, understand the individual and find the most appropriate solution to help them move, recover and perform at their best.
